September 9 1954 - exactly 3 months before I was born - Marilyn is at the "St Regis Hotel" in New York City to promote her upcoming movie "The seven year itch".

She only appeared for a few minutes, spoke to the press, charmed the entire audience, signed a couple of photos, and took off for the St. James Theater to attend the play "The Pajama Game".

I decided to compile a "collage" of a few candid shoots that would make me feel like I was there, part of the privileged crowd, part of the lucky ones who shared a few seconds with a shooting star.

I originally made it for myself, then decide to share it.
