Ralph 'Nunzi' Annunziata
Born in Erie, Pennsylvania, studied art under Joseph Plavcan & received a Bachelor of Fine Art degree from Columbus College of Art & Design [CCAD], Franklin University in Columbus Ohio.
“My inspiration is ‘the Great Spirit’, the Earth Mother, nature, human anatomy, light & shadow, and the beauty and pattern of all creation.” Some techniques are mult-medium, scale abstracted acrylic paintings with ebony pencil, gel & varnish. Large scale ‘wet sketch’ with gesso, pencil, gel & varnish. Figurative plein air landscape on stretched and un-stretched canvas.
